Sneak Peek #1 – Living Room Project

Over the last few days I’ve been working on recreating my living room in 3Ds Max, with a 21st century isometric twist. I’m using the Scanline render engine for this as I really like how strong the colours can be and how good it is for creating really distinctive light and dark areas. This project has taken me approximately 4/5 hours of work so far, which includes me using a (woefully short) tape measure to get all my models accurate to within ~1cm.

Here are some test renders I’ve created so far, with the newest at the top and the oldest at the bottom.
